VeriMilk

VeriMilk: a custom-trained model that screens milk from a photo.

VeriMilk is an in-house product by Nimblique Studio. A collection centre photographs a filter-cloth sample, and a custom-trained image model estimates whether oil has been added to the milk.

It is a screening aid for dairy collection centres. It does not replace laboratory testing, and its results should not be used on their own for food-safety, purchasing or health decisions.

A custom-trained model, not a generic one

  • Trained by Nimblique Studio on labelled filter-cloth photos, for this one screening task
  • Runs on the phone in the Android app, so a sample can be checked where it is collected
  • Can be retrained as the dataset of labelled samples grows

What it is made of

  • A custom-trained image model that flags oil adulterants
  • An Android app for capturing samples in the field, with the model running on the phone
  • A Laravel web console for centres, test history, alerts and reports
  • Centre analytics and audit logs for the people who review results

Try the web console demo

The public demo runs the web console with fictional collection centres and synthetic test data. Uploads and changes are switched off.

Join the Android test

The Android app is in a closed test on Google Play. Leave the Google account address you use on your Android phone. We email a confirmation link, then an invitation with the Google Group and Play links.

The test build uses demo data only. Joining does not sign you up for marketing.
